Getting started
How to cure Blueface after Sorrowspores: Debluing Tea from Chrys
Ask Chrys in Wisk about your Sorrowspore condition, buy Debluing Tea for 50 Gold Petals, then drink the tea. The September 30 creator video shows the named item arriving and the blue mushroom appearance disappearing after use. The Steam reply calls the vendor “Chris”; the English dialogue in the video spells her name Chrys. This is an attributed solution, not our own gameplay test.

Find Chrys and choose the condition topic
- After the blue appearance develops, speak to a student, teacher or vendor and look for the new condition topic. The release-week player reports that this topic becomes available after getting sick.
- Visit Chrys in Wisk during the day. Look for the tea seller beside the house with planted beds and a teapot sign; the video’s 22:42 scene shows the location.
- Discuss the Sorrowspore condition with her. The demonstrated dialogue offers a tea for 50 petals.
If you ask Professor Sylvine instead, the video shows her directing you to Chrys for tea rather than giving a potion recipe. The illness can reduce available mana; the reporting player describes losing half of theirs.
Buy Debluing Tea, then use the item
- Have 50 Gold Petals available and accept Chrys’s tea offer.
- Look for Debluing Tea received and the updated Sorrowspore journal entry. Buying the tea is separate from drinking it.
- Find Debluing Tea in inventory or the hotbar and use its consume action with your current input layout.
- Check that the blue appearance and mushroom growth are gone. The 23:10–23:13 sequence shows the use effect followed by the character’s normal appearance; the creator also reports restored mana.
The reviewed footage does not clearly expose the consume-button label, so this guide does not assign an unverified keyboard or controller shortcut.
Do not confuse this with Fern’s ginger-tea task
Fern’s tea errand uses a ginger tea obtained in exchange for Instagrow. That is a different objective. For the blue condition, check for the actual Debluing Tea item and condition dialogue rather than buying an arbitrary drink. If Chrys is unavailable at night, return during the day: the same creator could not find her for a separate tea errand after dark.
If you cannot afford the tea yet
Use the garden selling well for expendable items, keeping quest supplies aside. The Steam respondent chose an earlier save before touching the mushrooms because they lacked money; that loses later progress and is an optional fallback, not a requirement to cure the current save. Avoid gathering more of the blue mushrooms while resolving the condition. A changed price, missing condition topic or failed consume result needs the installed version and the exact item/dialogue, rather than assuming the ginger tea will substitute.
