Crop growth times, regrowth and seed seasons
The Version 1.08b community crop table says crops can grow in any season; the season listing controls when shops offer their seeds. Growth and repeat harvests depend on the crop. Basil regrows, for example, while Wild Wheat and Snap Taters need replanting after harvest.

Six examples: first harvest and repeat harvest
These are the community table’s growth figures, not our timed test of your installed build. Read the first number as the initial growth period and the second, where present, as regrowth after harvest.
- Basil: 3 days to the first harvest; regrows in 2 days.
- Blueberry: 6 days to the first harvest; regrows in 2 days.
- Strawberry: 3 days to the first harvest; regrows in 1 day.
- Wild Wheat: 3 days; a single harvest, then replant.
- Snap Tater: 3 days; a single harvest, then replant.
- Cranberry: 3 days; a single harvest. This is a pond crop, so follow the water-plant placement and harvesting instructions.
Winter growth and seasonal seed stock are different
According to the reviewed crop database, a planted crop is not limited to its seed seller’s season. A shop no longer offering a packet does not by itself mean the crop cannot grow. Plan around both the time needed to grow it and when you can obtain the seeds. This is not a promise that every seller stocks every packet year-round, or that an unverified special quest plant follows ordinary crop rules.
A missed watering day delays ordinary crop growth
The farming instructions say ordinary crops advance overnight after watering, including on planting day. Missing a watering day pauses growth rather than killing the plant. Check for darkened wet soil before treating a table’s three-day figure as a broken timer. For the actual fill, small-plot and seed controls, return to planting and daily watering; for watering several nearby plots, see Sprinkler Plants and their coverage limits.
Check the plant and version before applying a number
This page compares six examples, not the complete crop database. The source does not establish the meaning of every packet colour here, nor a universal modifier for skills, enchanted seeds, trees or story plants. If growth still differs after checking watering, record the exact plant, elapsed watered days, current stage and build. Keep the crop’s own card and quest instructions separate from this ordinary-crop comparison.
