What did Eastshade confirm?

The April demo announcement calls the demo the first few hours of the game and says players will be able to continue from their demo save after release. The June Next Fest announcement again says a save will pick up where the player left off in the full game. Those two statements answer the progress question directly. They do not list which individual items, quests or settings transfer, so do not infer a detailed migration checklist from them.

What should you do before launch?

1. Keep the demo save you want to continue and check that it appears in the demo’s Load screen.
2. Keep the same Steam account for the launch version unless Eastshade announces another supported method. This is a practical precaution, not a confirmed account requirement for transfer.
3. Once the full PC version is available, check its Load or Continue screen before deleting or replacing your demo files.

The Steam store lists Steam Cloud, but that feature badge alone does not explain the demo-to-full-game migration mechanism. If the save is already missing from the demo’s Load screen, the announcements do not provide a recovery procedure.

If the save does not appear in the full game

Check Eastshade’s release notes for any version-specific instructions before moving files or trying advice written for another game. Record the demo version, the full-game version and what each Load screen shows when reporting the problem.
