Where to find Seafloor Sand: dive at sea bubble spots
Once you can dive, search the sea’s bubble spots. Players report finding Seafloor Sand near Mel’s shell shop and under the sea by Newcomer Beach. The player who needed a second sand to invite a fox eventually found one at Newcomer Beach after several unsuccessful attempts.

Where to try diving
- Look for bubble spots in the sea around Mel’s shell shop; one reply recommends below the shop.
- Dive using the interaction shown in your current game and check what you collect.
- If you still need sand, try the sea by Newcomer Beach. This is where the original player reported success.
No sand after several dives?
The replies describe variable results, including several days without sand before a successful dive. “One in five for me” is one player’s experience, not a guaranteed drop rate. A rare-diving perk is mentioned as a guess, not a proven requirement. Try another reported area before assuming the item is unavailable.
Sand for the garden fox
The question concerns a garden invitation asking for two sand, not the initial taming action. See Bellian Moor and fox taming for that earlier step. This page covers finding the material after diving is available; it does not supply a Dive unlock quest or the entire habitat recipe.
