Florian’s Gilded Toadstool missing? The 1.06 fix and recovery command
Update to Version 1.06 or later. For a Gilded Toadstool already missed because of the fish quick-transfer bug, Eastshade gives the console command GiveItem Gilded Toadstool 1. The patch fixes reward registration; the developer separately supplies this recovery for the lost mushroom.

Check which reward problem you have
The October 11 questioner had the completed fish book but no mushroom. Two players report the mushroom at ten fish, rather than only at the final hand-in. Eastshade identifies controller quick transfer as the likely cause and says it was fixed in 1.06. For the ordinary deposit, use the fish-chest steps.
Recover the missed mushroom
- Use this for the missing reward described above, not as a requirement for normal pet taming.
- On PC, press Home to open the console.
- Type
GiveItem Gilded Toadstool 1and press Enter. - Press Home to close the console, then check inventory for the mushroom.
Achievements and Steam Deck input remain unconfirmed
A player asks whether the console affects achievements; the reviewed replies do not answer. No Steam Deck console binding is established either. The patch does not itself promise to restore every previously missed reward. Keep these limits in mind before using the optional recovery.
