How to move the Wagon: open storage and select the wheel icon
Interact with the Wagon normally, then select the wheel icon beside its storage interface. Eastshade answered a Steam Deck player who had completed the Derelict Wagon quest but could not move the reward.

Use the wheel control after opening the Wagon
- Approach the Wagon you already obtained from the quest.
- Use the normal interact control for your active input layout.
- When its storage slots appear, navigate to the wheel icon and activate it.
- Check whether your character can now move the Wagon.
On Steam Deck, follow the current interact prompt
The developer names no fixed Deck button and requires no new controller layout. The extra step is selecting the wheel after storage opens. This answer starts after obtaining the Wagon; its quest unlock date, capacity and every placement restriction remain unconfirmed.
