How to get a storage chest recipe and place a chest in the garden
The chest recipe is listed at Practical Practice for 100 Gold Petals and requires Carpenter level 2. Craft it using the recipe’s current material list, then place the chest in the garden. A player who built one reports being able to place it outside in the garden, rather than wherever they wanted indoors.

Get the recipe and check the skill requirement
- Visit Practical Practice in Wisk, the shop also used for a first-day school supply.
- Check its chest recipe and the Carpenter level 2 requirement. The October 1 shop notes list a price of 100 GP; use the live shop price if a patch changes it.
- After obtaining the recipe and reaching its requirement, inspect the material list and craft the chest.
The reviewed sources do not enumerate the materials or a fastest Carpenter-leveling route. Use the recipe in your installed version instead of gathering an invented wood quantity.
Place it in the garden, then try ordinary items
- Take the crafted chest to the garden and use the available placement interaction.
- If an indoor location refuses placement, try the garden: that is where the reporting player successfully placed theirs.
- Open the placed chest and move the ordinary items you want to store.
One player also reports stored items being available for crafting. That reply does not establish every recipe, chest or remote crafting situation, so check the material count before relying on it.
A chest does not prove a quest item can be stored
A different player could not store an extra Munchitis Treatment in their dorm chest, although ordinary potions were accepted. See the spare treatment report before crafting a chest solely to remove that quest item. Backpack expansion is another system: a player says it exists, but this discussion does not supply its purchase or unlock steps. The chest recipe is the demonstrated storage opportunity here.
