Is Songs of Glimmerwick coming to Nintendo Switch?
Eastshade has not confirmed a Nintendo Switch version or a Switch release date. The announced September 30, 2026 launch is on PC through Steam. Eastshade’s platform FAQ says consoles are planned, but explicitly leaves the particular consoles unconfirmed. Do not assume the PC launch date also applies to Switch.

What can you play at launch?
The current Steam listing schedules Songs of Glimmerwick for September 30 and offers a PC demo. That is the platform and date you can verify from the developer’s store listing now. A Steam wishlist or demo download is for the PC version; it is not a Switch preorder.
What does “planned for consoles” mean?
Eastshade’s own FAQ says it plans console versions but cannot yet confirm which consoles. The same FAQ still says no release date has been announced, while the newer Steam listing now names September 30 for PC. Use the FAQ for the limited console plan and the newer store listing for the PC date. Neither source confirms a Switch edition, Switch 2 edition or console launch window.
What should Switch players check next?
Wait for Eastshade to name Nintendo Switch in an official announcement or store listing, then check that platform’s date separately. Until then, any specific Switch date you see elsewhere is unverified against the studio’s current platform statement. If you want to play the available demo, use the PC listing and check its requirements first.
