Wake up in the ocean? Update to 1.08 and load the previous night
Update to Version 1.08, then load a save from the night before the affected morning. Eastshade gives this recovery in both the October 23 patch notes and the Start Day Bug discussion. Updating alone is not the complete instruction for an already affected save.

Resume from before the broken morning
- Check that the installed game has received Version 1.08.
- Open Load and choose a save from the preceding night, before the morning when the camera moved into the ocean.
- Start the next day from that save and check whether play continues normally.
No suitable earlier save?
No recovery command for that case is provided. Preserve your saves and report the installed version, affected day and available earlier saves. For Windows files, use the documented save-folder instructions; do not delete or rename files to imitate an earlier day.
Keep other ocean scenes separate
This fix names the morning camera regression. A separate Harp of Six report describes ocean scrolling after a forest portal; its replies do not confirm that Version 1.08 repairs that sequence. Restarting and verifying files had already failed for one Start Day questioner.
